Monkeyskin blends blues, jazz, and rock with a raw energy that's earned them a loyal following across Sydney and beyond. Active from 1997-2003, they caught attention with "Me and Mr Jay" which found unexpected success in Texas.

2023 saw Monkeyskin reform and release "99 Monkeys" a collection of their original catalog. They followed with three new tracks in 2024: "Baby Don't Like It", "Fly Away", and "One Touch" proving they hadn't lost their edge.

Currently in the studio working on new material, the band continues to release tracks while building momentum through live performances. Their return to the stage has seen increasingly enthusiastic crowds, culminating in the honour of being invited to play at the Stanmore Music Festival in November 2024.

They maintain strong connections with other bands in the scene and can either put together complete shows for any venue or slot in as support themselves, making it easy to create the perfect lineup for any event.
